Psalm 27:1 King James Version (KJV)
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
The lights were cut off in my home. I wasn't able to pay the bill. I came home with my children to utter darkness. I lit the candles that I had and felt so bad for my children having to come to a home that was cold and no light. But
I thank God that they have the understanding when one struggles to get by.
As I went to bed I started to pray and read Psalms 23 and the Lord led me to Psalms 27. After reading and praying I felt light, all the burden was lifted up.
God reminded me that we are never alone especially in our hard trials. Glory be to God Almighty for his mercy and grace.
