I would like to share with you gospel songs by various artist that can encourage and uplift you.
Psalm 146:1-2 King James Version (KJV) states -
1. Praise ye the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul.
2. While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.
I grew up listening to gospel music. My mother bought me a radio alarm clock, when I was a child, to wake me up early (five something in the morning), so that I could get into the one bathroom before everyone else that had to go to work. I was the youngest by 8 1/2 years of four children.
Every morning I would wake up, get my bath and get back into bed. At 6:00 a.m. gospel music came on and I would lie in bed listening to it.
Gospel music was my Bible. The words in the songs were all I had along with famous Bible stories. I didn't start reading the Bible until I gave my heart to the Lord at age 23. Songs still play a major role in my life. Along with the word of God, they encourage and uplift me.
Since I have already stated I am a grandmother, be warned that my style of gospel is old school.
