In the Bible "Michael the archangel" is mentioned only once, and "archangel" is mentioned only twice.
Both times it is stated as THE archangel. Not an archangel, but THE archangel. To be THE specifies that there is only one archangel.
Following are the two times archangel is mentioned in the Bible –
1 Thessalonians 4:16 (KJV)
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Jude 1:9 (KJV)
Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.
It is commonly assumed that the Michael mention in Revelation who casts out the devil from heaven is Michael the archangel. Although he is not called the archangel in Revelation.
Revelation 12:7 (KJV)
7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
Is Michael, who fought with the devil and recorded in Revelation, the great prince mention in the book of Daniel.
In Daniel 10 the messenger (angel) comes to enlighten Daniel, but needs help. Michael has to come and fight with him. Sounds the same as the Michael in Revelation to me.
Daniel 10:13, 20-21 (KJV)
13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.
20 Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come.
21 But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince.
Daniel 12:1 (KJV)
12 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
In the book of Daniel, Michael is also called a chief prince, and the great prince.
An let us not miss it, but in Daniel 10:21 he is called Michael YOUR prince.
What is a prince? The son of a king.
What king is Michael the son of?
Michael resides in heaven and I would say the heavenly king would be GOD. So Michael is the son of God.
Daniel also refers to a prince of the host, Dan 8:11, and a Prince of princes, Dan 8:25.
Who is Daniel referring to in chapter 8? It would seem to be the same as the chief prince and great prince that Daniel refers to in the other chapters, which is Michael. However in Daniel 8 he is definitely referring to a God figure.
Is Michael the prince the same as Jesus?
What Bible verses refer to Jesus as a prince?
Isaiah 9:6 (KJV)
6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Daniel 9:25 (KJV)
25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times
Daniel 11:22 (KJV)
22 And with the arms of a flood shall they be overflown from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant.
Acts 3:15 (KJV)
15 And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.
Acts 5:31 (KJV)
31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
Revelation 1:5 (KJV)
5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth.
In Daniel 12:1 (KJV)
And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
Michael / Jesus the great prince stands up, and after the time of trouble comes as King of Kings, and Lord of Lords to redeem his people from the earth.
1 Thessalonians 4:16 (KJV)
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel.
Note JESUS is shouting, it is HIS voice.

Who is the angel of the Lord in Genesis 22:11–12 who tells Abraham, “I know that thou fearest God, seeing that thou has not withheld thy son…. from ME.
Who is the angel of the Lord in Judges 2:1 who said, “I made you…. I sware unto your fathers; and I said, I will never break my covenant with you,
In Judges 6:12–13 Why does Gideon respond to the angel of the Lord by saying (v13) “Oh my Lord”?
