Jesus Light Of The World

John the Baptist was a witness that Jesus the light of the world was the true light, and we should be His witnesses too.

The following verses were used for Daily Bible Verses 348 -

John 1:6-9 King James Version (KJV)

6. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.

7. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.

8. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

9. That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.


John 1:4-5 King James Version (KJV)

4. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

5. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.


John 3:19 King James Version (KJV)

19. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.





Jesus Light Of The World
Jesus is the Light. Follow him so you don't walk in darkness, believe in him and in God that sent him, that you may have everlasting life.

The following verses were used for Daily Bible Verses 349 -

John 8:12 King James Version (KJV)

12. Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.


John 9:5 King James Version (KJV)

5. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.


John 12:35-36, 44-46 King James Version (KJV)

35. Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.

36. While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.

44. Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me.

45. And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me.

46. I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.


If we believe in Jesus we will believe in God, and we will abide in the light. There are many who are in darkness, atheist etc., we need to be witnesses that Jesus is the light of the world.
