Daily bible verses 4

James 1:5 (King James Version)

5. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

Sometimes we need to make decisions and we don’t know what to do. What choices, what direction, etc. God has promised to give us the wisdom we lack.

So let’s not fear to cry out to Him for help in our decision making, because the next verse tells us to persevere in asking and do not waver. Keep asking, don’t give up.

James 1:6-7 (King James Version)

6. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

7. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

We must believe God will help us and not doubt.

Mark 11:24 (King James Version)

24. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

1 Timothy 2:8 (King James Version)

8. I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
