Daily bible verses 28

Luke 17:3-4 King James Version (KJV)

3. Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.

4. And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him

We are required to forgive others. It is for our own spiritual well being.

And we are expected to try and make peace with those who have done us wrong.

Matthew 18:15-17 King James Version (KJV)

15. Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.

16. But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.

17. And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.

We are not to seek revenge, or hold a grudge against them. Instead God expects up to love them.

Leviticus 19:17-18 King James Version (KJV)

17. Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.

18. Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.

God’s intent is that through our love and forgiveness we can save that person that did us wrong.

James 5:19-20 King James Version (KJV)

19. Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;

20. Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.


Remember we have the power of the Holy Spirit, so ask for God’s help.

Philippians 4:13 King James Version (KJV)

13. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
