Psalm 55:16 (King James Version)
16. As for me, I will call upon God; and the LORD shall save me.
God desires to hear our prayers. Don't hesitate to call on Him.

We should have scheduled times for prayer. At least morning and evening, when we wake up and go to bed. There is a saying much prayer much power.
David is called a man after God's own heart, he states in this verse he will pray 3 times a day.
Psalm 55:17 (King James Version)
17. Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.
Daniel also had a habit of praying 3 times a day, which is why he got thrown into the lion's den. However even though it was a dangerous thing for him to do, Daniel prayed to God as usual.
Daniel 6:10 (King James Version)
10. Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.

One of the shortest bible verses tells us to pray often.
1 Thessalonians 5:17 (King James Version)
17. Pray without ceasing.
Jesus has made a way through the veil so we can go boldly to God in prayer. So let's not hesitate to do so.
Hebrews 4:16 (King James Version)
16. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
God is able.
