Luke 17:26-27 King James Version (KJV)

26. And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

27. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.


In the days of Noah people were busy doing things and they didn't have time for God. Be ready; make time for God.

Genesis 6:5-6 King James Version (KJV)


5. And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

6. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.


Turn from wickedness, and hide the word of God in the heart, by reading and memorizing His word.

Jeremiah 6:19 King James Version (KJV)

19. Hear, O earth: behold, I will bring evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not hearkened unto my words, nor to my law, but rejected it.


We must control our thoughts, what we allow our minds to think on. To do that we must censor what we see and listen to.

Wickedness and violence begin in the mind.

6. Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
